This isn't my official blog. This is just a health blog to keep me motivated to form healthy habits until I don't need anymore motivation because it'll become natural to me. I am 18, 5'4, and weigh 124 lbs. I'm happy with my body, and my weight, I would just like everything to be toned! :)

I absolutely despise when people say “Well you only live once, so may as well enjoy what you eat.” I do enjoy eating and being healthy. Have fun eating crap food and dying young!

Great news

I have been working out for about 4 weeks now, if not longer. And I have plenty of muscle, I’m just in need to burn off the excess fat left on my body. In every area of my body, arms, legs, and stomach, I have a then layer of fat. My stomach is pretty flat, there’s just that small layer of fat that’s covering my muscles! >.< But really most of my excess fat is accumulated near my thighs and butt area.

I know a sure sign of losing fat is when you notice the fat around your arms, neck, face, hands n feet are going away. I’ve always had a little bit of flab on my arms, just that small annoying jiggle, but now there’s not much there to jiggle :D A lot of it is muscle, and my arms are in the first stages of looking like I’m flexing, even when I am not :)

Although my arms are not my main target, its a start. I know the last fat my body will burn will be around my thigh and butt area because genetically that’s just where my body wants to store fat. I’ve always been an all hips girl if you know what I mean :P But I’m glad I’m seeing some kind of results, and that my diet and training is paying off.

What I’m doing for my workouts is mostly cardio, and than tapping it off with weight lifting or something of that sort to challenge my muscles. I do the cardio to burn the fat, and then weight lifting to help keep my muscles strong and to build new muscles to keep burning fat all day. (:

I’m tempted to get on the scales, but the truth is, last time I got on the scale I weighed 124 lbs, and I’m 5’4. And that probable hasn’t changed, and if so it has probable gone up. I’m not looking to get smaller, I just want to tone up what I got. I’m looking into buying an accurate body fat percentage reader. Any one know where I can get a good one of those?

Hi Zuzka and all body rockers,
this weekend i made these delecious and yet so healthy pancakes. I love such healthy, easy and clean recipes. I found lots of recipes on-line but modified them to make my own. There is always no harm in trying and i was mesmerised with the outcome  :)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cottage cheese ( I used 1 small pack)
1/2 cup oats
2 eggs
cinnamon
honey
coconut oil for greasing pan
For the toppings you can be creative with fruit / nuts / honey / yoghurt. I used frozen berries. Warmed them up in a sauce pen to get the juices out :-)
Method:
Put the oats in a food processor and grind until powdery. When oats are powdered add in the cottage cheese, 2 eggs, cinnamon and some honey. Mix thoroughly with food processor.
Make the batter in a bowl so that it can be easilly handeled. Heat non stick pan and add some coconut oil. When pan is hot, use a dipper/punch spoon to take some of the batter and pour it on the pan.
I did’nt need to make it round because as the batter fell it formed a circle.
When you see bubbels forming up from all sides of the circle you can turn it over to cook from the other side. Check them out so that they don’t burn. Will take only some seconds.
I served them with warmed up frozen berries. Made out 4 but could have easily made 5 or 6 smaller ones.
Enjoy and please do share clean yummy recieps if you have body rockers!
P.S. Zuzka I am loving your recipes so far, they are so yummy, please keep them coming.
Hug to all and keep on rocking,
Rodienne
